PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that if a vehicle standby for passing of an emergency vehicle actually performs route retrieval to be in time for a desired arrival time by a car navigation device, the initial scheduled arrival time is influenced by the standby time, and, even if the vehicle stops, it is in the route of the emergency vehicle interfering with the operation of the emergency vehicle. SOLUTION: This route guide device is provided for retrieving for moving information (scheduled route, advancing direction, speed and positional information) on an object occupying a road with priority such as the emergency vehicle, a route where an ordinary vehicle does not pass in front of the emergency vehicle, or the route where the ordinary vehicle is not present in a designated range round the emergency vehicle from the information on the current position of the ordinary vehicle and destination.
