PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which simultaneously performs both a high frequency heating and a heater heating without lowering the cooling efficiency of a magnetron and the heating efficiency of a heater. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises a heating chamber 1 for storing heated matter, the magnetron 5 for supplying high frequency energy to heat the matter to be heated, the heater 12 for supplying a thermal energy to heat the inside of the heating chamber 1, a cooling fan 2 for cooling the magnetron 5, a suction duct 3 for leading cool air generated from the cooling fan 2 and cooling the magnetron 5 into the heating chamber 1, and a damper 4 installed in the suction duct 3 for switching between the introduction and cutout of the cool air into the heating chamber 1. When a cooking operating the heater 12 is performed, the damper 4 is closed, and when the cooking not operating the heater 12 is performed, the damper 4 is opened. The inlet of the suction duct 3 is disposed along the flow of the cool air after passing the magnetron 5, and the damper 4 is disposed at the inlet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
