PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To variably control the throttling opening of a nozzle without considerably reducing the ejector efficiencyηe. SOLUTION: A shape of a tip side of a needle valve 44 and a shape of an inner wall of a nozzle 41 are set so that a tip part of the needle valve 44 is displaced in a range in which the tip part is located on the refrigerant flow upstream side of a throat part 41a, a part 41c at which the sectional area of a refrigerant passage to be determined by the needle valve 44 and the nozzle 41 is minimized occurs on the refrigerant flow upstream side of the throat part 41a, and the refrigerant flowing in the nozzle 41 is decompressed to a gas-liquid two-phase area on the upstream side of the throat part 41a.
