PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a video image in response to a characteristic unique to an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: After recording an apparatus ID to particularize an apparatus to an omnidirectional camera 31-1 manufactured by a camera VTR manufacturer 11, a camera VTR server 33 allows a hardware data center (HDC) server 35 to store the apparatus ID recorded in the omnidirectional camera 31-1 and meta data for video image correction unique to each model of the omnidirectional camera 31-1. A broadcast station data server 61 acquires the meta data corresponding to the apparatus ID of an omnidirectional camera 31-2 possessed by a broadcast station 13 from the HDC server 35. A transmission apparatus 62 multiplexes the meta data possessed by the broadcast station server 61 with video data photographed by the omnidirectional camera 31-2 and recorded on a VTR 32-2 and broadcasts the resulting multiplexed data. An STB 52-2 corrects the video data included in a received broadcast program by the multiplexed meta data and allows a television receiver 14 to display the corrected video data.
