<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic weight measurement device for a metal ingot capable of automatically conveying the metal ingot and precisely measuring weight of the metal ingot during this automatic conveyance process. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic weight measurement device 1 for a metal ingot is constructed of a measurement device 2 for the metal ingot 7, a convey-in means 3, and a handling device 5. The weight measurement device 2 is constructed of a weight measurement apparatus main body 6 measuring weight of the metal ingot 7, an installation base 8 applying the weight of the metal ingot 7 to the weight measurement apparatus main body 6, a cushioning elevation base 9 receiving the metal ingot 7 and placing it on the installation base 8 while absorbing a shock in receipt, taper faces 8a and 8b guiding the metal ingot 7 to the installation base 8 while positioning the center of gravity of the metal ingot 7 to the center of the weight measurement apparatus main body 6, and a weight measurement apparatus box 11 having a lid 10 capable of opening upward for housing the weight measurement apparatus main body 6 and the cushioning elevation base 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
