PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically closed structure which is capable of restraining the amount of compression of packing from being affected by a fastening force applied by a fastening member. SOLUTION: Stepped parts 11 and 12 where a stepped part B provided to a lower cover 2 is set slightly larger than a stepped part C provided to an upper cover 3 are provided to a parting face between the lower cover 2 and the upper cover 3. Stepped parts D and E (D>E) are provided to the stepped parts 11 and 12 from inside sidewalls 7 and 10 so as to produce a gap 13 smaller than the diameter of a rubber packing material 5 in the direction of fastening, and the lower cover 2 and the upper cover 3 are combined in the direction of fastening so as to produce the gap between the stepped parts D and E. The rubber packing 5 provided to the stepped part 11 of the lower cover 2 is compressed perpendicular to the direction of fastening, and the expansion of the rubber packing 5 is directed in the direction of fastening to hermetically close the parting faces of the lower cover 2 and the upper cover 3.
