PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove water in a part around the center of an umbrella without increasing the resistance in inserting/drawing the umbrella by an umbrella water remover for absorbing water drops on the umbrella with a water absorbent material. SOLUTION: The umbrella water remover comprises a housing 1 into which an umbrella is inserted, a projection part 2 inside the housing 1, a cylindrical rotator 4 with a hollow part, a hole piercing from the hollow part to the surface of the remover and a rotating curved side surface, a holder part 5 for holding the rotator movably and rotatably in the radial direction in the housing 1, an energizing means 6 for energizing the rotator 4 toward the center of the housing, the water absorbent material 3 with water absorbent capability for covering the projection part 2 and the rotator 4, a sucking means for sucking water drops absorbed by the water absorbent material 3 from the hole/hollow of the projection 2 and the hole/hollow of the rotator 4, and a pipe part 7 rotatably attached to the rotator 4 for guiding water drops absorbed by the water absorbent material 3 to the sucking means.
