PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance for air-conditioning a building by utilizing the natural energy such as the geothermal heat and water in a storage reservoir, and a method for installing the same. SOLUTION: A storage reservoir 3 is provided in the vicinity of the building 1, a loop-shaped heat exchanger 4 is installed in the storage reservoir 3, a plurality of bar-shaped heat exchangers 5 are embedded along an outer circumference of the storage reservoir 3, an indoor unit 2 is installed in the building 1, a heat pump 6 having an evaporator 6a, and a compressor 6b a condenser 6c and an expansion valve 6d is provided. The bar-shaped heat exchangers 5, the loop-shaped heat exchanger 4 are connected to the evaporator 6a of the heat pump 6 via a first circulation passage 7 to circulate a first heating medium L, and the condenser 6c of the heat pump 6 is connected to the indoor unit 2 via a second circulation passage 8 to circulate a second heating medium M. The thermal energy obtained by the bar-shaped heat exchangers 5 and the loop-shaped heat exchanger 4 is fed to the indoor unit 2 via the heat pump 6 to perform the air-conditioning of the building 1.
