PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold reserving shutter device for closing an open part in the front of a food display freezer/refrigerator open showcase at night etc., capable of closing the gap between cold reserving curtains of the cold reserving shutter device or between the cold reserving curtain and a side panel of the showcase securely with excellent operability by a simple means for achieving the quietness, power saving, cost reduction and prevention of dew condensation. SOLUTION: A closing film 2 for covering the gap 8 is mounted in the gap 8 between cold reserving curtains 1 and 1 driven to be wound by a single roller mechanism 3 disposed above the open part. The closing film 2 is made of a material to be turned up with one end edge as the base point and is connected to a connection member 12 mounted at the side edge of the adjacent cold reserving curtain 1 when the cold reserving curtain 1 is wound out to close the gap 8. In addition, a closing film 2A, mounted at the side edge of the cold reserving curtain 1 adjacent to the side panel 14 of the showcase, is connected to a connection member 13 mounted on the side panel 14 side to close the gap 8A as well.
