摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a minute voltage increase in a superconductive coil without being affected by any influence of disturbance. SOLUTION: This detector is provided with a frequency analyzer 12, a variable filter 13, a comparison determination part 14, and an output part 15. The frequency analyzer 12 analyzes constituents of a voltage measurement signal generated in quench of the superconductive coil built in an input part and a noise signal at a frequency with an unknown band entering the measurement signal. In the variable filter 13, an operation band is automatically set in real time with respect to an known noise frequency band analyzed by the frequency analyzer, and unknown noise is removed according to the operation band. In the comparison determination part 14, existence/absence of quench of the superconductive coil 1 is determined by determining whether a measurement signal, from which noise is removed by the variable filter, exceeds a set level or not and determining whether a measurement signal continuing time exceeds a set time or not if it exceeds the set level.
