摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change gear ratio control device for a toroidal continuously variable transmission using an instruction value of a step motor for generating shifting as a speed instruction which achieves stable control without generating a collision of a trunnion with a tilting stopper. SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission for continuously changing a change gear ratio, the input number of revolutions detecting means for detecting the input number of revolutions on the basis of an input revolution signal cycle synchronized with the input revolution to the continuously variable transmission, and an output number of revolution detecting means for detecting the output number of revolution on the basis of an output revolution cycle synchronized with the output revolution from the continuously variable transmission are provided. Change gear ratio is computed on the basis of the input number of revolutions and the output number of revolutions in the timing for updating a signal having a longer cycle in the input revolution signal cycle and the output revolution signal cycle, and change gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled on the basis of the computed change gear ratio.
