NAME TAG AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively make a name tag by integrating the name tag and emblem having the decorativeness of the emblem and the discrete identification function of the name tag. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic synthetic resin film (2) undergoing name tag printing (24) including a name seal column (20) and printing display element (22) and a name seal (3) undergoing name printing (31) for identification are discretely made and thereafter the name seal (3) is arranged to the column (20) of the film (2) and both are subjected to high-frequency induction heating. The peripheral edge and printing display element of the film (2) are bonded to a base material (1) by the high-frequency induction heating and unnecessary portions (27) of the film (2) are removed. The peripheral edge (32) of the name seal (3) is welded to the film (2) by the high-frequency induction heating simultaneously with pressing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
