PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a thin type and high-definition light emitting display device up to a large type, nothing to say of a small type, with a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A scattering reflection driving part (2) is closely overlapped on a light transmission layer (1), and the pixel corresponding part is made to scatteringly reflect the incident light (10) thereto appropriately as necessary. The light emitting display device is constituted by guiding the light to the color filters (3) arranged on the opposite side, and making them act as colored pixels to obtain exit light (21). Luminous displaying is also possible for the light emitting display device by letting a fluorescence layer (4) secondarily emit light by using laser light for a light source. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
