PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip member for a micro chemical system that dispenses with high positioning accuracy between substrates, and miniaturizes the entire micro chemical system. SOLUTION: The chip member 100 for the micro chemical system comprises a transparent flat glass substrate 11, and a transparent flat glass substrate 12 that is joined in one piece with one surface of the glass substrate 11. The glass substrate 11 comprises: a channel 13 for an analysis where both the ends are branched in a Y shape on one surface; and four buffer sections 14 that are provided at each branch end of the channel 13 for an analysis; and four through holes 15 that open the channel 13 for an analysis to the other surface of the glass substrate 1 at a position opposite to each buffer section 14 of the channel 13 for analysis.
