PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller 1 capable of improving comfortableness in riding while providing a striking noise reducing function, allowing parts to be manufactured with relatively low precision, increased productivity and a reduced cost. SOLUTION: The roller comprises a roller part 7 formed with a circular installation groove in a rotation surface 7a, and a shock absorbing ring 8 engaged upon installation with the installation groove of the roller part 7. The shock absorbing ring 8 comprises a part to be compressed by receiving load when rotated (compressed part) 8a that is contained in the installation groove of the roller part 7.
