FLUID PRESSURE ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure actuator of which the length can further be shortened when expanded. SOLUTION: Sizes of meshes of a covering body 13 are varied depending on axial positions in an elastic expansible/contractible body 11. Linear elements of the covering body 13 crossing each other at intersection points of the meshes are fixed to each other at the intersection points. When an expansion/contraction body 12 is expanded, the outer circumferential surface of the elastic expansible/ contractible body 11 is curved in accordance with changes of the sizes of the meshes while the length of the covering body 13 is contracted itself.
