The distribution pump comprises a housing (10) and a piston (50) having a lower sealing lip (51) in contact with housing. The housing has a shoulder (11) extending radially inwards engaging the lower sealing lip to form an abutment for the piston and to define its distribution position. The housing has an axial annular cut-away part (15) in the region of the radial shoulder which causes the active sealing part (53) of the lower lip to be at a distance from the shoulder in the piston distribution position so that no axial force is exerted on this sealing part. An Independent claim is included for a fluid distribution device comprising the pump.
