<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure that an electronic certificate issued to an organization is electronic data which is electronically signed as the organization by preventing theft and unauthorized use of the electronic certificate. <P>SOLUTION: A server 1 is provided with a tamper-resistance HSM (hierarchical storage management program) 13 storing the electronic certificate 11 equivalent to an official seal issued to the organization, an electronic signature part 17 for performing an electronic signature processing to the electronic data 14 to be electronically signed by using the electronic certificate 11, a person in charge data base storage part 22 storing data bases of persons in charge having authority of requesting the electronic signature to the electronic signature part 17 and an electronic signature request acceptance part 16 for receiving an electronic signature request which is transmitted from a person in charge terminal 2 with the electronic data 14 to be electronically signed and for deciding whether or not the received electronic signature request is transmitted by the person in charge stored in the person in charge data base storage part 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
