PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of imparting a sense of incompatibility to a driver, and having adverse influence on a travel feeling because of a delay in a response of an actual vehicle to a change in a preset vehicle speed operated by the driver in a constant speed travel control device. SOLUTION: An input state (for example, an input frequency, and its period) of the preset vehicle speed is stored, and target acceleration-deceleration is calculated from the input state and a vehicle speed deviation (= the preset vehicle speed - an actual vehicle speed). Thus, constant speed travel control is realized according to an intention of the driver by the target acceleration- deceleration determined by adding a result by determining which of sudden acceleration-deceleration or gentle acceleration-deceleration the driver desires.
