CARRIAGE SUB ASSEMBLY FOR DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage sub assembly for a disk device for which deformation such as a warp accompanying forcible fitting of a driving arm is reduced as much as possible. SOLUTION: This carriage sub assembly for positioning a magnetic head slider at the tip of the driving arm to a magnetic disk medium is in the structure of attaching the driving arm so as to clamp a collar by forcibly fitting the forcible fitting part of the collar to the forcible fitting hole of the driving arm. A forcible fitting abutting surface where the driving arm and the collar are abutted by the forcible fitting is formed on either the driving arm or the collar and the center in a width direction of the forcible fitting abutting surface roughly matches with the center of the plate thickness of the driving arm.
