PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To know necessity and level of emergency for maintenance of each single apparatus, for easiness and efficiency. SOLUTION: Single apparatus such as a hydraulic cylinder 11, a direction control valve, etc., are connected to a hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic cylinder 11 is removed from the hydraulic circuit at connection ports p1 and p2. A hydraulic source 1 comprising a pressure regulating valve 4 and a flowmeter 5 is so connected to the connection port p1 of the hydraulic cylinder 11 as to supply an operation oil. While the operation oil is suppled to the hydraulic cylinder 11 from an oil tank 6 under a prescribed fluid pressure, a value of the flowmeter 5 is measured to judge oil leakage from the hydraulic cylinder 11.
