PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid valve having a washing function for always holding the clean condition inside of the valve, independently of the valve opening/ closing operation, so that the excellent valve operation for a long time is surely obtained without generating clogging inside of the valve. SOLUTION: A washing fluid flow-in passage 2b and a washing fluid flow-out passage 2c are provided in a seal space formed by sealing between the inner surface of a casing 2 having a main fluid passage 6 and the outer surface of a valve element 3. A communication passage 3c for selectively connecting the flow-in passage 2b and the flow-out passage 2c with the main fluid passage 6 is provided in the valve element. When opening the valve, the communication passage 3c is connected to the main fluid passage 6, and the high-pressure washing fluid from the flow-in passage 2b is injected to the outer surface of the valve element, and discharged outside from the flow-out passage 2c through the seal space 5b. When closing the valve, the main fluid passage 6 is shut off, and the washing fluid from the flow-in passage 2b is discharged outside from the flow-out passage 2c through the seal space 5b and the communication passage 3c. Adhered materials adhered to the inside of the valve and viscous materials are thereby discharged outside from the flow-out passage 2c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
