PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display turbulence due to noise or the like in a display. SOLUTION: In a facsimile machine 1A, that is provided in an electronic apparatus operated by either of energy consumption normal mode or energy- consumption-saving mode, and enables the display of an LCD 111 for display to be maintained at a low power consumption mode, a central control section 101 sends an operating clock to a display control circuit (IC 110 for control) for each given time in the operation, due to the energy-consumption-saving mode, and the display control circuit re-writes display data on the LCD 111 for display.
