PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-fiber optical connector with an optical fiber cord, which facilitates an operation of fitting the connector to an optical fiber cord and which, as a result of the fitting, excels in reliability as well as realizing a small diameter and a low cost. SOLUTION: This multi-fiber optical connector 10 with an optical fiber cord possesses the optical fiber cord 12 in which a plurality of superposed optical fiber tapes T are covered integrally together with long tension bodies 12b arranged on both sides in the width direction of the optical fiber tapes T. This connector is also equipped with an optical connector ferrule having optical fiber inserting holes 141 which are formed in the number not less than that of optical fibers of the optical fiber tapes T and which are arrayed to correspond with the optical fibers.
