<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-processor system preventing nonconformity such as breaking both of the backup data of a working processor and the backup data of a spare processor. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a data updating command from a maintenance terminal 4, the working processor 11a updates the data of an operation memory 12a and updates the data of a backup memory 13a. When completing the updating of the data of the backup memory 13a, the working processor 11a allows the spare processor 11b to receive the data of the operation memory 12a. The spare processor 11b updates the data of the operation memory 12b according to the received data and updates the data of the backup memory 13b.
