<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a performance having full power of expression by providing freely varying control for sounding characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: Resonating sections SYA and C are constituted of sounding boards 31 and casing sections 34 which are made of glass material and interior members 42 and 43 which suppress sounding volume. No interior member is provided for the resonating sections SYB and D and the sounding boards 31 and the casing sections 34 are made of metal. By varying the shapes and the materials of the sounding boards and the casing sections for every sound unit ST and by the presence and/or the absence of interior members, the sizes of the sounding volume are made as follows i.e., STA<STB<STC<STD. When a reed RE is vibrated by a playing, the boards 31 are vibrated and the sections 34 resonate. The units ST, that are to be sound generated, are selected based on the range, to which a velocity value stipulated by an event data I of performance data belongs, while an actuator selection table is referred and actuators SOL which correspond to a key number kn are driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
