<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply AC power from an AC power supply efficiently to a load apparatus using a simple construction, and to supply AC power having a better quality than the AC power from the AC power supply to the load apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When the AC power supply 2 is normal, one of the coils 13 of a transformer 12 is connected, in series in the power supply path between the AC power supply 2 and the load apparatus 3; while at the same time, the voltage of the AC power supplied to the load apparatus 3 is stabilized by supplying AC power from the other coil 29 of the transformer. Also, when the AC power supply 2 is abnormal, one of the coils 13 is connected to the load apparatus instead of the AC power supply 2, while at the same time AC power is supplied from the other coil 29 to supply AC power to the load apparatus 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
