PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing device which can prevent disturbance from affecting the bottom of a well in discharging liquid from a dispensing nozzle, and reduce the amount of residual liquid when the liquid is sucked. SOLUTION: The dispensing device is for discharge and suction of liquid to a micro-titer plate 9 in which a plurality of wells 10 having a flat part at the center of the well's bottom are provided. The dispensing device comprises an inclination holding means which holds the micro-titer plate 9 at the certain inclination angleθagainst the horizontal plane, and an attaching/detaching means which attaches and detaches a dispensing head having a plurality of dispensing nozzles 8 to/from the micro-titer plate 9 held at the certain inclination angle. Therefore, by inserting the tip of the nozzle 8 along the inner wall of the well 10, the liquid can be discharged without causing the disturbance. In addition, when the liquid is sucked, the amount of residual liquid can be decreased by sucking the liquid remaining at the corner of the well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
