PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective operation converting method by handling and modifying operations in a random order using a complex error detection. SOLUTION: A user of a computer 'A' performs an operation A<SB>1</SB>for a local copy of a shared data object executed in 'A' to increase a value LCA of a local counter. A<SB>1</SB>is formatted in messages 501 and 502, transmitted to computers 'B' and 'C', and creates each of the messages 501 and 502, so that parameters 402 to 409 are set by the first computer 'A'. When the messages 501 and 502 are transmitted, 'A' has the present local counter value LCA of the parameter 406, and each of the messages 501 and 502 is formatted and transmitted to computers 'B' and 'C', and the operation A<SB>1</SB>is recorded in 'A'.
