PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which efficiently and surely receives a transmitted signal and realizes power saving when a plurality of receivers are used. SOLUTION: This radio communication system is provided with one radio terminal device 10 wherein a transmitting circuit 1 is driven by a battery 3 to transmit a signal through a transmitting antenna 4a, two radio terminal devices 20 wherein a receiving circuit 2 is driven by a battery 3 to receive the signal through a receiving antenna 4b and a synchronizing signal transmitting means 50 for generating a synchronizing signal to transmit the synchronizing signal to the receiving circuit 2 of the radio terminal devices 20. The respective receiving circuits 2 synchronize with the synchronizing signal transmitted from the synchronizing signal transmitting means 50 to perform a receiving operation every period of time calculated by a product of a prescribed period of time shorter than a single transmitting period of time of the transmitting circuit 1 and the number of the radio terminal devices 20 having the receiving circuit 2, and the receiving circuit 2 of a different radio terminal device 20 performs a receiving operation every prescribed period of time.
