<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable optical length measuring apparatus for measuring dimensions without approaching a measured object using a light beam. <P>SOLUTION: This optical length measuring device includes a light beam scanning means 2 reciprocating to scan a light beam at an arbitrary run-out angle, a measurement range determination means 3 for determining a measurement range according to the scanning of the light beam to a measured object 19, a measurement processing means 4 for operating the scan angle of the light beam corresponding to the determined measurement range according to the operating condition of the light beam scanning means 2, operating a distance to the measured object 19 from the reciprocating time of the light beam to the measured object 19, and measuring the dimensions of the measurement range according to the scan angle and the distance to the measured object 19, and a display means 5 for displaying the measurement result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
