PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve convenience in a navigation system having a schedule book function. SOLUTION: A first schedule information such as place, start time and end time is taken to calculate the route to the place and the time required for arriving at the place, and a second schedule information required for moving to the place, that is, the start time obtained from the above route or the required time or back calculating the required time is added to the first schedule information to be displayed on a display screen. Namely, although the information on the place and time of meeting and business trip is stored in an ordinary schedule book, the information required for moving to the place is also displayed on the same schedule book.
