PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for settling accounts receivable capable of greatly simplifying procedures for collecting accounts receivable.

SOLUTION: The system for settling accounts receivable is connected with a sales foothold terminal 2 placed at each sales foothold for providing a service to a customer and with a financial institution terminal 4 placed in each financial institution with which the customer or the sale foothold has a contract, and settles accounts receivable generated when the sales foothold provides the service to the customer. The system includes an accounts receivable information storage means 33 for collecting accounts receivable information output from the sales foothold terminal 2 and storing the information and corresponding sales foothold specify information for specifying a sales foothold having the sales foothold terminal, a customer-specific accounts receivable calculation means 18 for calculating accounts receivable for each customer from the stored accounts receivable information based on customer-specific information managed by the sales foothold, and an automatic transfer information generation means 19 for generating automatic transfer information for transferring the calculated customer- specific accounts receivable from the customer's financial institution to the sales foothold's financial institution.
