PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staged mixing type high-pressure catalyst/flame composite combustion burner capable of achieving high temperature combustion without producing NOx by secondarily mixing reaction gas of primary mixing gas surface-burned by catalyst combustion and unconverted gas not surface-burned so that stable extremely lean hot flame combustion can be performed.

SOLUTION: This staged mixing high-pressure catalyst/flame composite combustion burner comprises a primary gas mixing part 1 for uniformly mixing preheated air with fuel, a catalyst combustion part 2 for surface-burning gas mixed in the primary gas mixing part 1, a secondary gas mixing part 3 for mixing the surface-burned reaction gas passed through the catalyst combustion part 2 with the unconverted gas not surface-burned, and a flame combustion part 4 for burning the gas mixed in the secondary gas mixing part 3.
