The present invention is directed to anti-depressive activity of Crassulaceae speci8l extracts, Carpediol, containing 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl-p-d-glucopyranoside or 3-[6-0-(alpha-l-arabinopyranosyl)-beta-d-glucopyranosyl]-oxy- in mammals, to method of preparation and analysis of these extract, as well to safety of their usage in combination with other drugs.
