An information device for comparing and matching authentication information on a person to be authenticated and a registered authentication information which has been registered. The information device includes an authentication information storage unit for storing registered authentication information, an information storage unit for storing predetermined information, a read information storage unit for storing information on predetermined information read for each of persons to be authenticated, a comparison/matching unit for comparing and matching the authentication information on the person to be authenticated with the registered authentication information, and an information read unit for reading information corresponding to the person to be authenticated from the predetermined information.
