APPARATUS FOR FILTERING DIESEL PARTICULATE USING DUAL EXHAUST STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to efficiently filter the particulate generated from a diesel engine vehicle, while reducing costs by raising the temperature of the exhaust gas through the use of a dual pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a dual pipe(4) having a dual structure of an inner pipe and an outer pipe so as to prevent thermal losses for the exhaust gas emitted from an exhaust manifold; a diesel oxide catalyst unit(6) connected to the dual pipe, which raises the temperature of the exhaust gas emitted from the exhaust manifold; a diesel particulate filter(8) directly connected to the diesel oxide catalyst unit, which burns the particulate collected from the exhaust gas by the temperature of the exhaust gas raised by the dual pipe and the diesel oxide catalyst unit; and mufflers(12,16) for discharging the residual gas emitted from the diesel particulate filter.
