<p>A solvent-borne acrylate-functionalized alkyd coating composition is disclosed which includes an acrylate-functionalized alkyd, at least one drier, and an organic solvent. Also disclosed is a waterborne acrylate functionalized alkyd coating composition including an acrylatefunctionalized alkyd resin, at least one drier, and water. The acrylatefunctionalized alkyd resin comprises the reaction product of (i) an alkyd resin having an acid number from greater than 0 to about 10mg KOH/g, and (ii) a glycidyl acrylate. Also disclosed are methods of preparing acrylate-functionalized alkyd coating compositions, and coating compositions made by such methods.</p> |
