PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for performing a unified message service in a dedicated terminal are provided to combine LAN(Local Area Network) ports and a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) port and perform the unified message service. CONSTITUTION: A PSTN port(123) transmits and receives a voice message through a PSTN. Two LAN ports(121) transmit and receive a unified message through a LAN. The unified message is at least one among the voice message, a facsimile message, an E-mail, and a news push message. One between the two LAN ports(121) transmits and receives a signal with the LAN, and the other between the two LAN ports(121) transmits and receives a signal with a PC. A keyboard(117) inputs the unified message. |
