The inventive corporate communication system comprises a switched telephone network and Internet packet data network interconnected therebetween, at least one management facility connected to said Internet network and embodied in such a way that it is possible to determine a preferred link path for telephone calls through different operators or through the switched telephone network, or through Internet network, or through the switched telephone network and Internet network, according to routing programs specified by user, and at least one connecting means linked to the switched telephone network and to said management facility, the Internet-telephony gateways of different operators connected to the switched telephone network and Internet network, and at least one authentification server connected to Internet network and embodied in such a way that it can supply information on the availability and location of the management facilities, the accessible gateways of Internet telephony and the cost of telephone calls passed therethrough, authorise and track telephone calls through the gateways of Internet telephony, register and protocol the recorded telephone calls.
