The present invention relates to methods and systems for identifying subjects from whom biological samples may be obtained and used in proteomic studies. More specifically, the present application relates to methods for obtaining biological samples having preselected criteria, such as a chosen level of protein quality. The present application relates as well to methods for preparing pools of biological samples.
