The footrest (11) is swivel mounted (2) to the wheelchair with one end of a transversal bar (1) which is joined the opposite side of the frame with a hook (2a). A c-profile used as a guide rail (12) is attached to the lower side of the footrest (11) and can be moved across four rollers (7, 8, 9, 10) positioned in a housing (3, 4) in the center of the transversal bar (1) in order to move the footrest (11) towards or away from the wheelchair, facilitating the patient to put his/her feet safely on the ground for getting up. |
