A holster for holding a karabiner and sling, for fire rescue purposes, has the holster secured to the belt part of a BA harness and is colour coded for easy recognition. The holster is made of non flammable, non melting material and is secured to the belt by a loop with press stud fastening. Access to the holster is via a flap secured by press tapes and enabling the sling to be extracted using gloves.
