Gas mask with air flow inhibiting visor misting - has capillary material carrying moisture from exhaled air to be picked up by inhaled air stream

The gas masks, has the inhaled gas flow controlled in such a way as to prevent misting on the visor. Additionally the moisture retained within the mask is used to humidify the inhaled gas. The gas mask (1) is fitted with an inner mask (2) which provides a separation of the gas flow paths. Inside the inner mask (2) lining (8) of a capillary material is fitted, which retains and gives off moisture during the breathing cycles. The inhaled gas enters the mask through valve (5), is diverted along the window (15) and sideways through valves (15) into the space between the inner mask (2) and lining (8). During the contact of the inhaled air with the moist surface of lining (8) moisture is picked up and reaches the user's lungs through opening (14). During exhaling the air deposits its moisture on the inner surface of lining (8) before leaving the mask through valve.
