Conveyor for continuous heating ovens - having cooling tubes with branch pipes with internal sections giving annular coolant flow

The tubular members of a conveyor have right-angles branches within which are hollow internal pipe sections which serve to direct the coolant flow in uniform fashion. The arrangement is used for transport and transfer conveyors in continuous heat-treatment ovens such as moving-hearth ovens, tunnel furnaces and pusher ovens. Improved cooling efficiency for the branch sections is achieved.
