<p>The process is for sliding a length of sliding roof mounted on trusses in a framework, with reversible drive. The upper part (3) of the length of roof is mounted with support rollers (5) on the upper chords (1a) of the trusses bounding the opening space, and led by lateral guide rollers (6) on these chords. Additionally the guide rollers' accommodating mounting (7) can be shaped to embrace the top chord. The top sliding roof part can have self-locking drive, connected to drive-media anchored on the upper chords, with force-locking effect; and/or there can be blocking device for use when closed, and braking device to check excess travel. Wider opening than half the roof area is feasible, and erection and subsequent maintenance are simplified.</p> |
