发明名称 METHOD FOR SYNTHESISING SUPERHARD MATERIALS
摘要 The invention relates to the production of superhard materials including the synthesis of diamonds and cubic boron nitride, polycrystalline and composite materials based thereon, to the production of powders and tools containing such materials and used, in particular for manufacturing abrasive and cutting tools. The aim of said invention is to develop a method for producing superhard materials which makes it possible to ensure the high output of said materials at low temperatures and a relatively low pressure without using catalysts. The inventive method is characterised in that the ultradispersed powder of a material having a cubic structure is used in the form of crystal-forming additives. In one of variants, a diamond ultradispersed powder is used as an ultradispersed powder of a material having a cubic structure. The inventive synthesis of superhard materials (diamond and/or c-BN) is carried out at extremely low temperatures (800-1000 DEG C low than for catalytic synthesis) and at relatively low pressures. The output of the superhard materials is increased to 96-100 %, said materials being devoid of impurities, thereby making it possible to produce the tools having required structure and characteristics. Said invention significantly reduces energy and costly materials consumption.
