<p>The present invention relates to a rotary defleshing cutter comprising a central cutter head (1) of a substantially circular or polygonal cross section having its periphery provided with substantially axially aligned mounting grooves (3) adapted to accommodate individually replaceable elastic cutting inserts (2). The invention is characterized in that the cutting inserts (2) and mounting grooves (3) are shaped so as to follow a limited inclination of each cutting insert (2) about its longitudinal axis, while the distal end of the cutting insert (2) is provided with two cutting edges (4, 5) running longitudinally along both edges of the distal end of the cutting insert.</p> |
