<p>The invention relates to an air-purification device for a vehicle cabin, comprising a filter (1) held in a frame defining an apparent surface of the filter, arranged such as to be crossed by an air flux and a light source illuminating the apparent surface of the filter. The filter (1) comprises a first layer (10) of a non-woven fibre coating, a second layer (20) for air purification, covering the first layer and comprising a photocatalytic agent intimately associated with adsorbent particles and a third layer (30) of a non-woven fibre coating covering the second layer (20). The assembly of said three layers is folded in a bellows-like manner to give the appearance of corrugations or folds defining a useful filter surface larger than the apparent surface. The ridge generating sections form two planes essentially parallel and perpendicular to the air flow.</p> |
