The invention relates to a marking system (1) comprising wires (5) exhibiting ultrasoft ferromagnetic properties. Said wires are arranged on or in a carrier (2) and are associated with pre-established parallel positions (4) which are separated by a constant gap (e) according to a pre-established frame. The wires (5) can be present or absent in each position (4), forming a detectable binary code. The inventive marking system (1) can especially be embodied as a magnetically coded label. The invention also relates to a method for producing one such marking system by continuously incorporating ferromagnetic wires (5) into an adhesive complex (2, 3). The inventive marking system is used to identify and authenticate articles, products or objects. |
